FILM REVIEW: Paris is Burning

Paris is burning is a American Documentary directed  by Jennie Livingston.
Jennie Livingston  was born in Dallas, Texas in 1962. Livingston  was raised in Los Angeles  and Graduated from Yale University. She  is an artist and studied  photography, drawing and painting.
This documentary would be the best known work of Livingston's. The documentary was filmed in the late 1980's and released in 1991. The film received great reviews from critics. Because it explores the unknown world of the Ball Culture in New York City.
The film also explores race, class, gender and sexuality in Amerixa.  The film has received many awards including one from the Sundance Film Festival.
I think that the film is a bit repetitive with little conflict.
I feel like the director did try to explore all sides of the culture.
